Sometimes little flaws become a feature! Like this silver kintsugi repair.
Here is the lovely farmhouse style rustic handbuilt ceramic essential oil burner lantern. Made from creamy white earthenware clay and textured with the real lavender flower buds. Luminary holes were carved by the hand. Once the candle is lit, the holes make a nice pattern. The lamp is decorated with the purple and green underglaze and glazed with the clear glossy non toxic glaze. Each step in the production process required the firing in an electric kiln at temperatures higher than 1100'C. The bottom of the burner and the water bowl were left unglazed.
The luminary had a small crack near the bottom, so I've sealed it with silver new kintsugi method, and added some extra bling.
