Snuffling along in the leaves and moss in the Tasmanian Tarkine forest is where you will find this adorable echidna.
Known as Monotreme's, echindas and platypus are the only mammals that lay eggs, and echidnas are only found in Australia and New Guinea.
There is something truly magical about catching a glimpse of these beautiful creatures going about their lives, and this is what I wanted to capture in this scene. Her hollow tree stump home is covered in moss, fungi and lichen, the perfect environment for bringing in the ants and termites that echidnas love to eat.
Designed to bring a smile to your face every time you glance at this unique, one of a kind detailed sculpture, it would make the perfect piece for any windowsill, bookcase, collection cabinet or even added to miniature garden.
This sculpture is built on a rock from the beaches of North West Tassie and measures approximately 8cm long x 5cm wide x 6cm tall.
This item is ready made and these are exact photographs of what you will be receiving.
